AI Automation for Australian Businesses

Reduce repetitive admin. Keep control of the decisions.

Request a Business Automation Review

Lionist Technologies designs AI automation around the work your team already does. We start by understanding a process, checking the information it depends on and deciding where automation will help. Melbourne businesses can work with us onsite; online consultations, development and support are available across Australia.

What could you automate?

Enquiries and follow-up

Capture website enquiries, organise key details and prepare follow-up drafts for review. Route unusual requests to a person.

Quote preparation

Bring job details, product information and approved pricing sources into a draft quote. Staff check scope, fitment, costs and final pricing before sending.

Documents and data entry

Extract useful fields from documents and highlight missing or uncertain information, reducing repeated entry between systems.

Internal AI assistants

Help staff find information in approved procedures, product data and job records. Access is scoped to the information each user is permitted to use.

A practical starting point

For a workshop, an initial project might organise an incoming vehicle enquiry and prepare a job brief. The next stage could assist with a quote using verified source information. This is an example of a scoped workflow, not a promise that every supplier or accounting platform can be connected.

Our AutoWorks workshop pilot informs this approach. It is being tested and refined in a real operating environment; we have not published measured time savings.

How an automation project works

  1. Review: map the task, systems, data access and current bottlenecks.
  2. Scope: choose a bounded workflow and agree on success criteria, cost and responsibilities.
  3. Build and test: trial the workflow with representative examples, including missing data and errors.
  4. Roll out and refine: train users, review outcomes and agree on ongoing support.

Controls belong in the workflow

We scope approvals for customer communications and commercial decisions, define permitted data sources and decide what happens when information is missing. AI output needs validation. Sensitive data, retention and system permissions are discussed before implementation.

Common questions

Do we need to replace our current software?

Not necessarily. We assess your existing tools first. Where suitable access is available, a focused integration may be enough. Other projects need a custom interface or a different workflow.

How much does AI automation cost?

Pricing depends on scope, integrations, data quality and support. A proposal should separate development fees from ongoing hosting, AI usage and third-party subscriptions. We agree on these before the build.

Can every task run without human input?

No. Some tasks are better handled by rules or people. We identify where AI adds value and where review is needed, particularly for uncertain information, quotes and outgoing communications.

How long does implementation take?

We estimate timing after reviewing the workflow and required access. A single focused task and a platform spanning several teams require different schedules.
